Effect of desalting
Statut:
The Project Desalination, certified in June 2009, is a partnership between Veolia Water and the Institut Paul Ricard. It aims to identify reliable biological indicators to assess the impact of discharges of desalination plants and build a tool for impact studies.
It will initially see the impact on selected bio-indicators of changes in content of sodium chloride (it is not at this stage to see the impact of the outputs of reverse osmosis) .
