The seas and oceans are a natural reservoir energy that could provide part of the energy needs of coastlines, in the context of urban development projects of new buildings or refurbishment, project eco-cities, eco neighborhoods This input ports and sustainable and will contribute to securing the power supply of urban coastal areas of strength and a certain independence territorial primary energy.
In this context, technology heat pump (CAP) of seawater is a thermodynamic system that draws its heat source or heat sink in sea water and transfers that heat to a network of heat or cold to the end user.
The purpose served by the project is to enable the project partners OPTIMA # CAP collectively become more competitive through the consortium, and be ability to offer a CAP industrial seawater, consistent with the sustainable development approach, using a renewable energy alternative, and discriminating against competitive offerings through:
- Control of environmental impacts by the development of bio-indicators and stock stroke favorable
- Optimization of the design, operation and energy performance,
- Development of new services to end users and developers and promoters.
