Interventions in marine deep (1000 to 6000) are conducted with underwater vehicles, manned or unmanned. These devices mainly provide missions of observation and measurement and some physical interventions conducted with the robotic arm.
These physical interventions require specialized tools such as breakers capable of cutting ropes, halyards, elements of mechanical structures for the exploitation of subsea facilities, exploration or expertise of ancient shipwrecks or consequential accident.
Such facilities exist on the market, they are essentially constituted by disconnecting electrical, hydraulic or pyromechanical, one to be multipurpose but slow, heavy and cumbersome, the latter being lightweight, but powerful one-shot.
The project objective is to develop a tool switch pyrotechnic deep and multi-shots (OPMC), which combines the advantages of existing products. This tool will brick technique to develop other complementary functions such as nailing, unscrewing, crimping, etc..
